Refunds and cancellation

The short version. Cancel whenever you like, yourself, without emailing anyone. If the first month was not what you expected, say so within 14 days and you get your money back. Your thoughts are yours whatever happens to the subscription.
Cancelling
You can cancel from Settings at any time. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not cut you off immediately. You keep the Standard plan until the end of the month you have already paid for, and the account then continues on the free plan rather than closing.
Nothing is deleted when a subscription ends. Everything you captured stays, stays searchable, and stays exportable. A product built to hold years of someone’s thinking has no business using that thinking as leverage.
Refunds
Within 14 days of your first payment, email info@mindpalaceai.me and you will be refunded in full, without being asked why. That is a fortnight of real use, which is the least it takes to know whether this is doing anything for you.
After that, a subscription is refunded for the current month if something on our side went wrong — the analysis never ran, the service was unavailable for a meaningful stretch, or you were charged after cancelling. Write and say what happened. There is no form.
What is not refundable is a month you used normally and then changed your mind about, beyond that first fortnight. The AI processing for those thoughts has already been paid for on your behalf.
If you were charged by mistake
Duplicate charges, a charge after cancellation, or a charge you do not recognise: email info@mindpalaceai.me with the date and amount. These are refunded in full as a matter of course, not as a concession.
Who takes the payment
Payments are handled by a payment provider acting as the merchant of record, which means the charge on your statement may show their name rather than Ömer Genç. They collect any sales tax or VAT due in your country and issue your invoice. Refunds are processed back through them to the original payment method, and usually appear within five to ten working days depending on your bank.
Price changes
The price you signed up at is the price you keep until you are told otherwise. Any increase is emailed to you before it takes effect, with enough notice to cancel first if you would rather not pay it.
Getting your thoughts out
Independent of any of the above, and available on every plan: Settings will hand you a single file containing everything held about you, or destroy all of it outright. Neither needs anyone’s permission. See the privacy policy for what that covers.
