The short version. This is early software, offered free while it is being tested, and it can break or change. What you write stays yours. What the AI says about what you wrote is a suggestion, not a fact. Leave whenever you like and take your thoughts with you.
What this is
MindPalace is a service for capturing thoughts and finding the relationships between them over time. It is in private testing. Features appear, change, and are withdrawn; analysis may be re-run and give a different answer than it did last month, because the models and the thresholds behind it are still being tuned.
Your account
Accounts are created by invitation while the service is in testing. One account belongs to one person; do not share access, because everything the service infers is built from the assumption that one mind is behind the thoughts. You must be 18 or older.
Sign-in is by a link emailed to you. Anyone with access to your email can therefore reach your account, which makes the security of your mailbox part of the security of your thoughts.
What you write stays yours
You keep every right in what you capture. You grant Ömer Genç only the permission needed to operate the service for you: to store your material, to send it to the processors named in the privacy policy for analysis, and to show it back to you. That permission exists to run the product and for nothing else — not for training models, not for publication, not for any purpose you have not asked for. It ends when you delete your account.
What the AI says is a suggestion
The service proposes connections, detects what it believes are patterns, and writes summaries. All of it is generated by a language model and some of it will be wrong. A confident sentence about a pattern in your life is a statistical guess dressed in fluent prose, not a finding.
None of it is medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Do not make a decision that matters on the strength of what this service tells you about yourself without thinking it through independently. If you are struggling with your mental health, please talk to a professional; this is a tool for thinking, not a source of care.
What you may not do
- Use it for anything unlawful, or to store material you have no right to hold.
- Try to reach another person’s data, probe the service’s security, or work around its limits. If you find a flaw, report it to info@mindpalaceai.me and it will be taken seriously and fixed.
- Automate capture, or use the service to process bulk material rather than your own thinking. Every capture costs real money in AI processing, and the limits in place assume a person typing.
- Resell or repackage the service.
Availability
There is no uptime guarantee. The service runs on infrastructure that can fail, depends on AI providers that can be unavailable, and is maintained by one person. It may be taken down for maintenance without notice while it is in testing.
Your thoughts are stored the moment you capture them, before any analysis happens, so an outage in the analysis pipeline delays what the service can tell you — it does not lose what you wrote.
Cost
The service is free during private testing. It will not stay free: analysing a thought costs real money, and a service that cannot pay for itself will eventually stop existing, which serves nobody. If and when charging begins, you will be told in advance, and you will never be charged without having agreed to a price first.
Ending it
You may stop at any time and ask for your data to be exported or deleted; see the privacy policy for how. Ömer Genç may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or is using the service in a way that makes it unaffordable to run, and will say why. If the service is discontinued, you will be given reasonable notice and a way to take your thoughts with you.
Liability
The service is provided as it is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, Ömer Genç is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or opportunity, or for any decision you make based on what the AI suggested. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Because the service is free, any liability that does arise is limited to what you have paid, which at present is nothing. This paragraph will be revisited when the service is paid for, and a different limit will apply then.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the service does. The date at the top moves when they do, and a change that materially affects you will be emailed to you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, delete your account and your data goes with it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove protections you have under the law of your own country that cannot be contracted away.
