Capture is never refused. Not at any tier, not at any overage. A thought can always be got down in seconds — that is the whole point of the product, and a paywall in front of it would be a different product. What changes past the allowance is how deeply a thought is read: it is still stored, still summarised, still searchable, and the linking narrows to the thoughts that matter most.
Worth knowing before you pay for anything. The observations this exists for — a position you quietly reversed, a question open far longer than it feels — are statements about time. They need a contradiction 45 days apart, a subject returned to across 60 days, a question still open after 90 days. Starting from nothing, that is two to three months before the best of it can exist at all.
If you already keep notes somewhere, importing them collapses that wait to an afternoon. If you do not, the honest answer is that the first months are quiet, and the app tells you plainly which parts are still forming rather than pretending otherwise.
